The Russell County Historical Society is the caretaker of the history of Russell County, Kansas.
The society is a non-profit educational and cultural institution established in 1970 to preserve the history.  We serve that purpose through exhibits, collections, historical sites, and education.

The Society has archives, artifacts, and genealogical information about the early pioneer families who settled here. We have photos, letters, and  maps, as well as, early tools and
clothing to be studied and enjoyed.
